Welcome to the ABQ Homeschool Adventure Club
The Homeschool Adventure Club of Albuquerque is open to all active homeschool families in the Albuquerque area. If you are interested in forming friendships for you and your children while hiking, being in nature, learning outdoor skills, catching bugs, playing games, cooking and just having cool adventures as a group, then join in!
Hiking, playing outdoors, going on field trips or taking a tour is often more fun with a group of friends. And trying to play a game of kickball is pretty hard to do on your own. We are here to help all the homeschool families that are interested in participating in all kinds of activities that have nothing to do with, well... sitting at a desk.
There are no fees associated with this group other than the costs of any supplies or paid activities. All we ask is that you be the most positive, active member and attend at least one event a month. Our club is only as strong as its members, so please help us stay strong.
Anyone can plan an activity and is encouraged to do so at least once a year.
We are all about having fun so let's get started!
Thank you! We'll see you at our next adventure!
Disclaimer....we may make you late for dinner*! Or your children may get wet or muddy:0)
We are not the "Stay clean and dry club".
* "“I am looking for someone to share in an adventure that I am arranging, and it's very difficult to find anyone.'
I should think so — in these parts! We are plain quiet folk and have no use for adventures. Nasty disturbing uncomfortable things! Make you late for dinner!”
